LG has the world’s thinnest LCD panel?

It would appear that the prize for world’s thinnest LCD is going to LG, for now. This 42-inch LCD panel measures at only 0.1 inches thick (or thin).

The skinniness makes it quite light at 8.8 pounds, and it has 1080p resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be on display at CES 2010, and I can’t wait to check it out for myself.
