Recently, LG unveiled two new IPS monitors called the IPS226V and IPS236V during a press conference in Japan. The IPS226V is a 21.5-inch display while the IPS236V is a 23-inch display but they’re both measured at 19.5mm thick and carry the same specifications. Therefore, features of these monitors include a 6ms response time, a 1,920 x 1,080 pixels resolution, a 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 250 nits of brightness level, an HDMI port and a 178-degree viewing angle. Thus, the LG IPS226V and LG IPS236V are due to be released in November and December but there’s no official word on pricing yet.
