Marantz Features RF & WiFi Controls

10172007_marantz.JPGMarantz, a company that develops and sells upper-mid range to high-end audio products, has introduced a new line of universal remotes. This includes the flagship model RC9001 Universal Learning Remote that includes both WiFi and RF command and control.

On the company’s press release, the RC9001 was said to “meet growing custom installation and consumer demand for customized, upgradeable home entertainment technology, delivering simplified convergence and control for hundreds of different devices.”

Available for an MSRP of $1,800, this model boasts a large, 3.7” touch-screen LCD, a two-way feedback that can control things like Lutron Electronics Co., Inc.’s RadioRA lighting, and multi-room audio equipment, like Escient’s Fireball Media Manager.
