The new Marantz SR7005 A/V is a flagship receiver designed to offer complete compatibility with 3D TV and HD audio. The receiver features several wonderful technologies housed in an elegant chassis.

The SR7005 offers nearly 1KW of power, integrates a media player and sports a circular display with the traditional Marantz star. The major addition to the device is the latest generation 400Mhz, 32-bit Sharc DSP from Analog Devices, capable of handling the Audyssey MultEQ XT PRO room equalization auto set-up and HD audio decoding.

Other technologies found in the SR7005 receiver include DSX processing, Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, Dolby ProLogic IIz and six HDMI 1.4a inputs. Besides, for each key audio section the receiver employs a segmented power structure with separate power supplies and to avoid electrical interference it uses extensive internal shielding of key components.

Available in black or silver/gold, the SR7005 will hit the market by August, priced at £1,399.90.
