As we see a new wave of interface jacks and ports being integrated into mobile devices today, the VESA group has decided to make the mini display port standard. It is also known as the mDP which should now be compatible with most displays used provided they meet Display Port 1.1 standards. So don’t be surprised if the next time you buy a new MACBook or laptop, there is a new port in the mix!
