Meridian 810 Reference Front Projection Video System

meridian 810 Meridian Audio Ltd continued its tradition of being world’s leader in projection systems with the launch of 810 reference front projection video system with high quality audio and video. The entire package is a combination of 810 Reference Video Projector and the 810 Reference Video Scaler.

The reference video projector is a D-ILA-based. It offers a resolution of 10 megapixels and a contrast ratio of contrast ratio of 10,000:1. The projector featuring PKI Xenon lamp delivers 6000 lumens of brightness. Not only this, the scaler ensures delivery of noise free images.

Available in four different packages, the video system is priced at US$185,000 and will be available in the third quarter of this year. All the four packages have different lens systems with different throw system and a special motorized 2.35:1 lens assembly.

    It’s expensive, but it’s quiet, sharp, and the scaler really fills in where the source is missing. A very compelling combination - and a great use of this technology. If you have the money . . . you owe it to yourself to consider it!
