meridianlogo.gifBritain‘s Meridian Audio Limited, well-known for its excellent digital audio technologies for music and home-theater systems unveiled its latest launch Meridian DSP7200 Loudspeaker at the 2007 CEDIA Expo, Denver, Colorado. Scheduled to arrive in November 2007 in gloss piano-black lacquer or silver lacquer colors, Meridian‘s new DSP7200 model is the successor to DSP7000. The DSP7200 is the first model of Meridian’s DSP Loudspeaker series to integrate company’s latest architecture of input board featuring RJ45 connectors for eliminating need of hiding hideous wires and elegance of installation via CAT5 cabling.

Meridian DSP7200 features four internal 100-watt amplifiers, two amps drive a pair of refined 8-inch, 6-inch midrange unit and a cone made from a uniquely light and stiff combination of polymers. The DSP7200 features multi-amplified active-speaker topology in which each individual driver is served by a dedicated amplifier channel. Precision command of frequency balance, listening axis and time-compensated balance, and master volume are taken care well by the DSP7200.
