Mitsubishi Electronics is set to unveil a new batch of Internet-enabled TV sets this year which will come integrated with VUDU Apps. These new VUDU Apps will include VUDU Streaming Movie Service which is currently supported on select Mitsubishi Unisen Immersive Sound televisions. Also, the 2010 Mitsubishi line of Internet-ready TV sets will gain access to more than 100 apps ranging from news services to Internet sites.
VUDU Apps’ cloud architecture will allow Mitsubishi Internet-enabled TV owners to access the latest VUDU Apps without the need to download or install new software. MDEA plans to include VUDU Apps on all Internet-enabled HDTVs this year.
