Motorola doubles one million IP set-top box landmarks in less than six months

Motorola, a world leader in wireless and broadband communications recently announced about its shipment of its two millionth Internet Protocol (IP) set-top box which it has introduced 6months back. This milestone was reached just five months after the delivery of its one millionth IP set-top boxes. This milestone exhibits the speedy growth of the IPTV market in the world. This two millionth set-top VIP1510 was shipped as component of the provision of 150,000 units to TeliaSonera, Sweden’s foremost telecommunications company. Motorola make available the client premises equipment (CPE) and application platform to deliver IPTV, on-demand services and Internet-on-TV and also the company offers an end-to-end solution for the service provider wanting to give out a variety of video substance and services into the home.
