Mvix Pocket-Size HD Media Center

Mvix has released a pocket-size multimedia enclosure called the Mvix Pocket-Size HD Media Center. It takes a 2.5″ hard drive and features component output with resolutions up to 1080i. It supports MPEG1, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI, DivX® 3.11, 4x, 5x, XviD, ISO and Ripped DVD VOB files. When connected to your PC, the Mvix works just like an external USB 2.0 hard drive. Simply drag-and-drop all your media content from your PC to the device, connect it to your plasma or LCD TV and enjoy all the media in your living room.

It comes with a highly functional and ergonomically-designed IR remote control. The Mvix MV-2500U is a comprehensive 4-in-1, video or music player that is so versatile and can be carried in small pack because it is about the size of a PDA. You will need to supply your own 2.5″ Internal IDE (PATA) drive. Retails for around  $149.99.
