MvixUSA have introduced their newest mediaplayer, the Ultio. A network-connected UPnP streamer, the Ultio has an optional internal hard-drive, can display content from Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, among others, and has a variety of connection options. The company also claims that the Ultio supports the largest array of AV formats for any such device.

Some of these formats include MKV, MOV, H.264, Dixv HD, VC-1 and FLV, as well as FLAC and AVCHD. Up to a 1TB internal drive is supported, in addition to external storage thru the Ultio’s USB 2.0 ports. The A/V connections include HDMI v1.3, optical and stereo audio outputs. The 1080p mediaplayer is available to order now, retailing for $169 with no hard-drive or $259 with a 1TB drive preinstalled. It will start to ship in the first week of July.

I just received my Mvix Ultio. This is almost is similar to my old WDTV - but the cool part is that it can be hooked up to my wireless network, does MKV and has a built-in BitTorrent client. I was also able to stream DTS to my Yamaha although DTS is ot on its supported audio list.
