Considering how thin our screens are getting, shouldn’t the speakers match them in skinniness? Fortunately, Definitive Technology has announced a 1.5 inch thick Mythos XTR-50, a “made for plasma” on-wall speakers.

The XTR-50 has “audio definition, detail, bass, and dynamic range”. The cabinet is 27 inches high and 6 inches wide, and it comes with a wall-mounting bracket that allows vertical and horizontal orientation.

This product is being offered today through an exclusive deal with Amazon.com and Crutchfield.com, and then available online and in stores through additional retailers.
