NEC Annouces Two New Short Throw Projectors

NEC has recently announced two new short throw projectors: the NP510WS and NP610S.

Each of them are designed for schoolrooms and businesses, and they have a 600:1 contrast ratio, native resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, 5000 hours of lamp life, a built-in seven watt speaker, as well as connectivity ports of VGA, DVI-I, HDCP, RCA, S-Video, and Ethernet.

The NP510WS is in wide-format and has 2100 ANSI lumens for a price of $949, while the NP610S is standard-aspect and has 2600 ANSI lumens for a price of $999. They will ship next month.
