NEC announces four new projectors in the ViewLight series




NEC has just announced four new DLP data projectors in their ViewLight projector series.

The NP53J ($1,050) has 200W lamps for 2,600 lumens of brightness, and the NP54J ($1,150) has the same amount but can be used without a PC. The NP64J ($1,450) can also be used without a PC, but it has 220W lamps and 3,000 lumens. This is the same amount as the NP63J ($1,300), but can’t be used unless you have a PC.

Each of these projectors have XGA resolution of 1,024 x 768, a 1,600:1 contrast ratio, 0.3W mono speakers, and the user can buy a Bluetooth compatible adapter for an extra $150.

These projectors will be available in Japan for a price of February 10.
