NEC Announces Two New 24-Inch MultiSync Monitors

NEC has two new LCDs for you and they are both 24-inch MultiSync monitors: the LCD2490WUXI and the LCD2490W2-BK-SV. The two monitors will offer an IPS capable of 1,900 x 1,200 resolution, 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 320 cd/m2 brightness, 96.7% coverage of the sRGB color space and AmbiBright, a light sensor with automatic backlight adjustment. So what’s the difference between the two LCD monitors? Well one has the SpectraView color calibration sensor and is therefore more expensive than the other. With that being said, you will be able to choose between the $1,299 LCD2490W2-BK-SV display or the $1,099 LCD2490WUXI. Which one will it be?
