NEC Launches New Portable Projectors

nec NP500WS Recently, NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD displays and projectors launched its two new projectors. NP500WS and NP600S are the two new NP Short Throw series portable projectors. These projectors have been designed to cater the projection needs in small to medium sized businesses and classrooms.

The NP500WS is a wide aspect ratio projector delivering 1280 x 800 native resolution at 2100 lumens brightness. While, the other mode, NP600S delivers a native resolution of 1024 x 768 at 2600 lumens. Both these new projectors produce a contrast ratio of 600:1 and offer a lamp life of 4000 hours in Eco Mode.

Featuring AutoSense Technology, these new NEC projectors sync well with the most computer signals and provide one-touch image optimization. These projectors also provide a quick setup and ease of use. Both these projectors come with a standard 2-year limited parts and labor warranty. The new NP500WS and NP600S projectors are expected to be available by April 2009 at a price of $1199 each.
