NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2: 25.5-inch monitor

NEC has unveiled their new LCD screen codenamed 2690WUXi2, which can be considered an upgraded version of the 2690WUXI. In this model the screen measures 25.5-inches and covers almost 98% of the popular Adobe RGB color range.

In terms of contrast ratio, the latest NEC display has a good rating of 1000:1, while the brightness level is 320 cd/m2. The response time is set to 16ms - not bad for a screen so big…

As for the screen resolution the maximum is 1920×1200 pixels, while the viewing angles - horizontal and vertical - are good enough for 178-degrees.

Inputs include HDCP-compliant DVD-I, DVD-D and HD15. There are five picture preset modes, 12-bit LUT (look up table) and 12-bit gamma correction.

The NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi2 will become available on November 20, at Japan, for an unknown price so far.
