Netflix streaming coming to select Samsung BD players

It seems that the Xbox 360 isn’t the only peice of hardware that will be getting love from Netflix, Samsung has recently announced that their BD-P2500 and BD-P2550 Blu-ray players will soon gain the ability to stream HD content.

This comes to us after word that the abovementioned players would be getting SD Netflix streaming capabilities last month. This is a step in the right direction making for a more advanced (see: lazier) digital culture, as other manufacturers are sure to follow suit and release their own HD streaming players.

Samsung’s BD-P2500 and BD-P2550 will be allowed a firmware update in the first week of December that will enable HD Netflix streaming.
