Netgear has released two networking accessories for home theaters with the High-Performance Wireless-N HD Home Theater Kit (WNHDB3004) as well as the Universal WiFi Internet Adapter for Home Theater and Gaming Consoles (WNCE2001).

According to Netgear, “the new WNHDB3004 kit has been tested and proven to currently be the only solution capable of wirelessly playing multiple jitter-free 1080p HD video and audio streams at double the performance and range of other solutions on the market”. That is quite a boast. The WNCE2001 adapter is for wireless-N capability to any Ethernet ready device, and is powered by USB.

The WNCE2001 adapter should be available in May for $79, while the WNHDB3004 will be released in the third quarter, for a yet-to-be-determined price.
