Niles 7-inch DIRECTED SOUNDFIELD CEILING MOUNT LOUDSPEAKERS

Niles Audio Corporation, a pioneer in Custom Installation recently announced its latest addition to the revolutionary line of Ceiling Mount known as Directed SoundField™ Loudspeakers. The latest 7” ceiling mount models incorporate Niles’ patented and award-winning Directed SoundField pivoting woofer and tweeter technologies along with voice-matched technologies. The design of the loudspeakers renders a visual appeal to the ceiling. “Niles dealers can now specify three grades of high performance Directed SoundField home theater systems that cover every price point,” said Frank Sterns, president of Niles. “With Niles Directed SoundField loudspeakers, professional system integrators can incorporate high definition home theater sound into ceilings to complement flat panel television installations,” Sterns added.

There are four major models in the Series named CM730DSC Center Channel, CM730DSFX Surround Effects, CM750DSC Center Channel and CM750DSFX Surround Effects. These can be purchased individually as well as in combos. The CM730DSC Center Channel is priced at $249.95 each. It utilizes an injection-molded polypropylene woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 1” fluid-cooled UltraSilk™ soft dome tweeter for clarity at high frequencies. The CM730DSFX Surround Effects can be purchased at an MSRP $449.95 per pair. It comes with a dual 1” fluid-cooled UltraSilk™ bridge-mounted tweeter array. The CM750DSC Center Channel is priced $299.95 each. It uses an injection-molded TCC™ (talc, carbon and ceramic) woofer with butyl rubber surround and a 1” fluid-cooled Teteron® dome tweeter for ultra-wide dispersion and smooth frequencies whereas the last model of the Series the CM750DSFX Surround Effects ($549.95 per pair) employs a 1” fluid-cooled bridge-mounted Teteron dome tweeter.
