Nintendo’s Wii U could support two controllers

Nintendo has been showcasing the Wii U at CES these days, and new rumors around the new console have been appearing. One such rumor suggests that the Wii U will support two touchscreen controllers, instead of just one as Nintendo has so far showcased.

Two controllers will definitely be something that gamers will appreciate, but considering the high costs, we dunno how many Nintendo will sell. With a large touchscreen and other features, the controller could easily top $100 bucks. That would be twice as much as competing controllers, and three times as much as Wii controllers.

We’ll have to wait until E3 2012 for all the details, where Nintendo will announce the final Wii U specs, prices and accessories.
