I’m very cautious about spending this much money on A/V Receivers for one simple reason: HDMI 1.4 is going to be released very soon. I am very surprised that this fall’s lineup of high-end receivers from Onkyo and Denon do not include HDMI 1.4. This will probably cause me to wait until 2010…and I may not get a high-end receiver at all. I will probably just end up getting a mid-range inexpensive Yamaha with 0.04% Total Harmonic Distortion to use for now.
