Oppo Digital Launches BDP-83 Blu-ray Player
Oppo Digital has a new Blu-ray player available, the BDP-83. Besides the usual Blu-ray your DVD will also handle formats like SACD, DVD-Audio and HDCD. Here’s what you can expect from BDP-83 Blu-ray player:
- BonusView and BD-Live support
- VRS de-interlacing and scaling capabilities
- 7.1-channel analog output
- Dedicated stereo output
- USB connectivity
- Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio codecs support
The player also comes with a backlit remote control which will control not only the BDP-83 but any other devices hooked to the player via HDMI. The player will cost $599 but you might qualify for the special pre-order price of just $499.
