To get equal and proper distribution of quality feeds and videos, Opus Technologies has unveiled a new HD receiver in the HDCX103. It is compatible with standard coaxial cables. The HDCX103 essentially simplifies the task of whole house HD video distribution, where coaxial video feeds are optimized to HD quality over long distance cable runs in all installations.

A key benefit is the ability to use existing cables in properties fitted with standard definition multi-room systems so you don’t have to disrupt existing décor.

Key features include 75ohm satellite grade coaxial cables that can distribute 1080p signals in excess of 80 meters, with the HDMI-over-coax cable fully HDCP compliant. No release date has been announced yet.
