OSD Displays (OSD) unveiled an advanced 5.7-inch diagonal VGA TFT LCD OSD057VG01CW. The new display is RoHS compliant and is in the production stage. It will hit the markets soon. Featuring 50,000 hour lifetime white LED backlight the LCD is deigned for industrial control and mobile computing market. The LCD measures 127mm (W) × 100mm (H) × 6.6mm (T). OSD057VG01CW is expected to support up to 18-bit (262k) colors. Backlight brightness of the panel 250 cd/m2 typical with a contrast ratio of 300:1 offers clear and crisp images.
