Panasonic and Sony Team Up for New 67GB Blu-Ray Discs

Panasonic and Sony have teamed up to produce new 67GB capacity Blu-ray discs using i-MLSE technology. These new Blu-ray discs will be able to store 33.4GB of data on a single layer disc while dual layer discs can accommodate up to 66.8GB. No special hardware is needed to record on them. There is no release date or pricing information for these new 67GB Blu-ray discs for now.
