In addition to the four Blu-ray players that Panasonic released the other day, the company has released the DMP-BD60 for the Japanese market. It is supposedly the “world’s shortest Blu-ray player”, but I always get suspicious when I hear that term.

Anyway, the DMP-BD60 measures in at 430 x 49 x 199 millimeters. It also has BD Live, DLNA support, 1080/24p and 1080/60p video, AVCHD support, AVCREC support, Deep 12 bit color, Dolby True HD/Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio support, USB port, HDMI port, and it can accept SDXC cards. It also has Wi-Fi and web-connectivity, and you can view DivX files.

You can get the DMP-BD60 in Japan for $400 on February 15th.
