According to reports, Panansonic has recently gotten the go ahead to launch WirelessHD equipped TV sets in the UK. This comes after Ofcom opened up the 57-66GHz radio spectrum for use by manufactuers far and wide.
Panasonic is gearing up to launch their first 50″ HDTV utilizing the technology in a few weeks for around £5,000 with LG also releasing WirelessHDTVs shortly after.
Here’s to hoping this same technology gets implemented in one form or another in the US.
