Panasonic Projector Systems Company recently unveiled their latest PT-D4000U single-chip DLP (digital lighting process) projector. It is a cost effective projector succeeding PT-D3500U. PT-D4000U projector features a new dual-lamp system for increased brightness, said Thomas Zitelli, president of Panasonic Projector Systems Company. It will be available in the third quarter of 2007 with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of approximately US$6,499. 0.7-inch DLP chip Projector delivers brightness of 4,000 lumens, a contrast ratio of 1600:1 and a resolution of 1,024×768. PT-D4000U Series is deigned for business conference rooms, game arcades, casinos, restaurants, stores, showrooms, education classrooms and other fixed installations.
