Panasonic may be one of the longest lasting sources of audio products out there, and the Panasonic SC-BT228 is an excellent representation of why they’ve been around as long as they have: a high quality piece of hardware that’ll really surprise you.

The Panasonic SC-BT228 is a thousand watt, 5.1 channel home theater system that includes bass-reflex subwoofer and a Blu-ray player.  It also offers a variety of built-in surround sound decoders and playback options, iPod compatibility with a built-in universal dock to back that claim up, one HDMI output, x.v. Color, Viera Link, FM tuner, and two optical digital inputs.

You can see there’s a lot to work with here, with some terrific options.  Having a Blu-ray player included in the mix adds a lot of versatility, and the sound coming off this one is solid enough, if not the best.  But where this really shines is that you get a lot of capability from this system for the shockingly low price of three hundred and thirty bucks out at Best Buy.

Coupling all these things together makes it pretty easy to recommend that you take a look at the Panasonic SC-BT228, a home theater system that brings power and value together to make a decent overall package.
