Panasonic SC-ZT1 Wireless Home Theater System
Recently, Panasonic unveiled its new Wireless Home Theater System SC-ZT1. Designed to set you free from the trouble of setting speaker cables, this new wireless system sends uncompressed audio data over a wireless 2.4-GHz frequency band for ensuring high-quality sound.
The new Wireless Home Theater System SC-ZT1 from the house of Panasonic creates a lifelike virtual 7.1 sound from its four ultra slim pole-type speakers that provide ideal listening conditions. Its speakers come with integrated subwoofer for generating sounds from the low-frequency range.
Panasonic’s SC-ZT1 is actually a four speaker system that incorporates Panasonic’s virtual technology so that the users can enjoy Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD 7.1 channel surround sound. This new system is expected to be available in the market in the spring of 2009 at a price that is yet to be disclosed.

This has to be the most exciting of all the wireless surround sound systems that are becoming available. No speaker wires or subwoofer required!
Better yet, panasonic have a TV with wireless HDMI and a Bluray player with the same. Sure, it would cost an arm and a leg to get the entire system, but just imagine how clean it would look!
The only problem is that you still need power points to plug the speakers into.
Can’t wait for the day when everything is wireless, including power!

Looks awesome, but a few of the reviews I’ve read warn against the purchase if you are looking for good sound and one even said, “The SC-ZT1 home theater system may not be the best choice for those who are looking for good quality sound but it no doubt will look good in your living room.” It may just be me, but I would normally spend $1,000+ on a speaker system to sound good!
