Panasonic announced six new VIERA D2 series LCDs today.
Three of them have a IPSa panel: the 42-inch TH-L42D2 ($2,400), the 37 inch TH-L37D2 ($2,000), and the 32-inch TH-L32D2 ($1,800). They also have three HDMI interfaces, two USB ports, an SD/SDXC slot, a 2 million to 1 contrast ratio, not to mention a VIERA link. Only the first two are full HD, while the TH-L32D2 has 1,366 x 768 resolution.
The other three have a regular IPS panel. The 26-inch TH-L26D2 ($1,500), the 22-inch TH-L22D2 ($900), and the 19-inch TH-L19D2 ($750). These have smaller LCDs and 1,366 x 768 resolution, two HDMI ports (three for the TH-L26D2), two USB ports, VIERA link, and a SD/SDXC slot.
These VIERAs will roll out on the Japanese market on April 23rd, save for the TH-L42D2, which will be available on June 11th.
