Philips 42PFL3704D Television Review–A Great ChoiceBy Steve Anderson - 11/23/2009 3:03:48 AM |
As the owner of a Philips television myself for fully the last five years now, I can attest personally to its reliability and durability. This sucker has played easily a couple thousand hours so far, and it’s still humming along as if I took it out of the box yesterday.
So if I were interested in a new television set, I might do well to choose another Philips, just like today’s review target, the Philips 42PFL3704D.
The Philips 42PFL3704D is a forty two inch 1080p LCD television with three HDMI inputs and the proprietary Pixel Plus engine. It also includes a digital audio output port, two composite video inputs, two S-Video inputs, two component video inputs and one USB input.
Now, like I said, from owning a representative Philips I can attest to longevity and durability, but just from this model alone I got great sound and a great picture, with easy controls, and all at a great price of right around seven hundred dollars. I really like the Philips brand, having used it for years myself, so with this great choice in mind and the Philips track record behind it, I’ll recommend it easily.
