Philips Ambisound HTS8140 DVD Home Theater System

Recently, Philips, a world-renowned electronic brand launched its new Ambisound HTS8140 Home Theater System at the IFA 2008. Incorporating four speaker towers, this new product of Philips comes with a 150 watt Class ‘D’ digital amplifier.

The new Ambisound HTS8140 system features a super-slim main DVD/amplifier unit that can be installed on wall or placed in stand mount. It also comes with a powerful subwoofer. This new system brought out by Philips incorporates the Philips 9.1 Cinema Sound technology that is capable of creating a 9 speakers experience with just f speakers.

All the tower speakers of this HTS8140 Home Theater System have high quality 18mm soft dome tweeter and a 2.5” woofer for conventional 5.1 reproductions along with two additional 2.5” full range drivers.
