Philips CinemaOne

Philips recently showcased a compact home theater CinemaOne during IFA 2008 electronics show. The theater is a combination of iPod dock with amplification, CD Player, DVD Player, subwoofer and four speakers.

With dimensions 273mm x 172mm x 273mm equivalent to size of a football, the home theater is perfect for use in bedrooms, student apartments or in an office. The CinemaOne also supports formats like DivX and WMV. The base consisting of 4-inch subwoofer have speakers are angled around the body.

The lack of support for Blu-ray is one thing which needs to be incorporated. The CinemaOne is priced at US$660 and will be available in Europe in September or October.
