Philips creates wide 3D TV at 21:9 parameters

This is the Philips 21:9 3D TV, which is probably the widest 3D TV that I know of.

I believe that is was on display at IFA, and it is at a big 58 inch resolution. It looks like you will have a fun time watching movies on this big boy, but TV shows and movies might give you the “black-bar effect”. It also features Ambilight tech.

We don’t have a price or availability date as yet, but that doesn’t surprise me much. This is IFA, with the home of sudden surprises from companies like LG and Samsung.
