Pioneer added another model to its extensive Elite Blu-Ray Family BDP-95FD for High Performance Video and Audio Playback. The company showcased the latest model at CEDIA Expo. This amazing model sets benchmark with its HDMI 1.3 Connectivity for Lossless Advanced Audio Decoding.

BDP-95FD Blu-ray Disc player is the industry’s first Blu-Ray Player to offer bitstream output of all advanced audio formats including DTS-HD(TM) High Resolution, Dolby(R) TrueHD, Dolby(R) Digital+, and DTS-HD(TM) Master Audio.

The Player can handle 1080p 24 frames per second (fps) reproduction rate letting users enjoy movies in their original format. The BDP-95FD is engineered to provide smooth, pristine imagery and dynamic 7.1 surround sound. HDMI Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) equipped in the player ensures seamless integration with other high definition theater components.

Some of the market-fetching features of BDP-95FD Player include its compliance with Windows XP, Vista, and Media Center editions, Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA) sources, Microsoft as well as 3rd party DLNA server software available for both Mac and Linux based computers. The BDP-95FD Player will reach specialty retailers in October at an MSRP of $1000.
