Pioneer Elite EX Series Speakers

Pioneer recently launched Elite EX series speakers to enhance your home entertainment experience. Offering a new level of sonic performance for home theater environments, Pioneer has rolled out five models namely, S-IW691, S-IW891, S-IW691L, S-IC691A and S-IC891A in the latest EX Series line up.

"Pioneer was founded on the passion for sound and this philosophy remains at our core and is seen through our continued development of superior audio products that have become benchmarks within the industry," said Andrew Jones, chief speaker designer for Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc.

The EX series speakers feature a 1-3/16" ceramic graphite tweeter, 5-1/2" magnesium midrange and are based on CST driver technology. The high frequency output and overall tonal balance is adjusted according to the room environment.

While the S-IW691 and S-IC891A are priced at $1,799, the S-IW891 is priced at $1,899. The speakers S-IW691L and S-IC691A are available for $1,999 and $1,599 each. All the speakers are available from December, 2008 onwards.
