Pioneer to launch Blu-ray Recorders

Pioneer has recently announced that it is planning to work with Sharp to produce the Blu-ray recorders. They are planning to release it in the Japanese market by the end of 2008. As by 2012 the market for Blu-ray recorders is expected to grow much wider in Japan, Pioneer is putting all its effort to produce the best. The demand for Blue-ray Recorders is expected to grow to some 3.6 million units a year.

As of yet, Pioneer has not made any announcement regarding the price ranges, feature sets, or target sales figures for its Blu-ray recorders. But the company has not yet decided as they will offer the recorders in overseas markets or not still they are planning to do a good business in the future market.
