Pixel Qi Has E-ink Mixed with LCD 3qi Display
Palm Qi has a new display ready to merge e-ink with LCD. The new screen, the 3qi, is a prototype for now ready to be displayed at Computex soon. The new screen is said to be able to combine the best of e-ink and LCD displays. The new screen will work perfectly well whether indoors and outdoors, and in case you want to save some energy you’ll be able to use it in an e-paper mode. Unfortunately the screen is only 10.1-inch big and we expect it to be packed into a very energy-efficient future netbook.
