Planar announces m57L 57-inch Direct-View LCD Display

Planar Systems Inc., has recently launched its new m57L, a large-format direct view liquid-crystal (LC) display for commercial digital signage market. 57-inch new display features higher brightness and broad source compatibility, ultra-high resolution (1920 x 1080), multi-source compatibility and, resistance to image quality degradation. Some of the features that make the m57L suitable for boardrooms and other corporate presentation environments as well as digital signage applications are Serial Digital Input (SDI), multiple window display to create an active image area approximately equal to seventeen 14-inch CRT monitors and presets for common color temperatures.
