Polk Audio’s Surround Bar Instant Home Theater System offers quality Polk surround sound in a package that can be set up in just minutes. The SDA IHT comes with an amplified sound bar with virtual surround plus a wireless subwoofer. Remarkably compact, the Polk Surround Bar has the clean lines and style that fits perfectly with a flatscreen HDTV. Polk is hoping to attract gamers and other consumers of moderate means and limited technological skill who still want killer sound with their movies and game applications, and the $499 price tag and easy installation will likely do that.
The Polk Instant Home Theater system connects to the stereo audio output jacks of any TV and includes a matching wireless subwoofer. Polk unveiled the new Instant Home Theater System and the Las Vegas CES in early January and expects to begin shipping the systems to stores later this month.
