Spectra
Avielo Prisma, Spectra and Optix are the first three models that are to be released in this High-End Home Cinema Projector series. All these models were showcased at High End in Munich, Germany recently. These models incorporate an exclusive RealColor color management suite, Texas Instruments DLP technology, proprietary designed custom optics and full 10-bit video processing.
Optix
The remaining two models of the avielo Range of High-End Home Cinema Projectors will be out in the second half of 2008. The fourth model will be names Radiance and it will feature a higher-power output to make it suitable for screen sizes up to about 3.5 meters wide in home cinemas and media rooms.
The last model belonging to this new series will be Helios that will showcase proprietary design 3-chip DLP architecture. Helios will be designed from the outset as a home cinema projector without compromise.
“Customer expectations in the high-end home cinema segment are sharper than ever,” comments Anders Løkke, International Marketing & Communications Manager. “The HD revolution has changed the way consumers perceive TV and movie content, and people will no longer settle for second best. At the same time, standards of interior design are also rising very fast. It is not enough merely to offer the very latest technology - you have to package it in a way that suits the aesthetics of the living space, and complements the end customer’s lifestyle.”
