Brace yourselves for something different as far as video distribution is concerned. The PTV1000 Push 2 TV adapter showed up at the FCC, sending feelers that Netgear is up to something. If approved, the PTV1000 Push 2 TV adapter will be able to send videos from a laptop onto a TV using WiFi connection.

The adapter will be built on an Intel Standard called Wireless Display which will require a Core i3, i5, or i7 processor with integrated GMA graphics and Windows 7. This is not official yet but if the device is now at the FCC, you can bet something is cooking!
