Quad Elite CDS CD PlayerBy Aditi The HomeTheater Girl - 08/18/2010 9:26:55 AM |
Quad recently introduced the new Elite CDS CD Player, a replacement for its 99 Series CD player. Significant changes can be found throughout this new CD player, including servo system and a new transport mechanism.
To minimize digital distortion, the audio data of the player is regulated by a high-performance master clock. The 24-bit/96kHz chip used by the player’s predecessor has been replaced with top-end Crystal 24-bit/192kHz DAC. Besides, the player utilizes highest quality electronic components, multi-layer circuit boards and Quad’s proprietary filtering and control software.
The Quad Elite CDS CD player further supports RCA and optical output and Quad Link system connection. It measures 321 x 80 x 310mm. The CD player is scheduled to hit the market by September and will be priced at £799.95.
