Samsung BD-P2400 Blu Ray Disc Player

Samsung recently rolled out its third generation BDP with the introduction of its latest BD-P2400 blu ray disc player. The latest model features 1080P Resolution, and 24 Movie Frames-per-second Capability to deliver excellent home theater experience. Home Theater enthusiasts need not to leave their homes now for watching movies in a Cinema when they get the same film-like quality in the comfort of their homes. The player will also support 60Fs for enhanced compatibility with many of today’s HDTVs. BD-P2400 Blu Ray player look good and sound good. The Player has capability to support Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus and DTSaudio playback with lossless pure sound quality. HDMI 1.3 connection coupled with HDMI CEC (Anynet+) technology lets the users control various connected Samsung’s products including BD Player, TV and other A/V products from Samsung via single remote control. Samsung’s BD-P2400 Player is configured to up-convert standard DVD discs to full HD 1080p resolution via the HDMI connection. Other features of the Player include compatibility with standard DVD and CD formats (including DVD-ROM, DVD-+/R, DVD-+/RW, CD, CD-R and CD-RW) and playback of multimedia content in a variety of different formats and at 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolutions. BD-P2400 can be purchased at an MSRP $649 from October 2007.
