Samsung LN40B530P7FXZA Television Review–Solid Samsung

I’ve come into contact with a whole LOT of Samsung televisions.  They’ve varied in quality from the incredible to the horrible, and everywhere in between.  So I never really know up front what I’m getting into when I get my hands on a Samsung–but today, I didn’t fare too badly. I tried a Samsung LN40B530P7FXZA, which may be the lengthiest title I’ve ever tackled, but underneath the alphabet soup that is this product’s name, it’s fairly standard Samsung underneath.

The Samsung LN40B530P7FXZA is a forty inch, 1080p LCD television that includes a cold cathode fluorescent lamp for improved picture, SRS TruSurround, Wide Color Enhancer systems, three HDMI inputs, one component video input, two composite audio / video inputs, one optical sound input, one PC video input and Anynet Plus systems.

This is a fairly solid Samsung model, with at least fairly decent sound and picture–at least on the model I encountered; your mileage may vary, naturally.  But when you couple a good array of features with a decent sound and picture package, and consider further that it’s currently selling for just over seven hundred bucks at Best Buy, your end result is that it’s a lot better than you expect.  And all in all, the Samsung LN40B530P7FXZA is a very solid Samsung.
