Samsung LN55B640 Television Review–A Terrific SamsungBy Steve Anderson - 12/25/2009 2:16:13 AM |
Folks, you know it’s not just every day that I manage to find a Samsung I can find no fault with, or at the very least no more fault than the ordinary of that unpleasant Samsung control scheme I dislike so much, but for once, I have absolutely no issues with a Samsung. What Samsung has made me so terribly happy, you ask? It’s the Samsung LN55B640, and it’s a beauty.
The Samsung LN55B640 is a fifty five inch 1080p LCD television with a USB port, four HDMI inputs, two component video inputs, two composite inputs, one PC input, one audio output, simulated surround sound, an Ethernet port and Internet connectivity.
The picture on this is great at any distance–short or long, I didn’t even spot artifacts. The sound is also terrific, and in fact I really couldn’t find anything wrong on this one. This is a great television. And considering they want sixteen hundred bucks for it at Best Buy, it’s really a pretty good deal for what you get and on a relative basis as well. The Samsung LN55B640 may be a bit expensive, but it’s well worth the cash.
