Looking like Samsung’s on the right track with their upcoming release of the 50 inch PN50C490 3DTV. The company is actually going to sell this 3DTV for less than a thousand dollars, which makes it more affordable than other brands out there right now. However, the $989 cost does come at a price of a different kind, though. The device will only be featuring 720p instead of 1080p, which currently being offered on most 3DTVs on the market. Nonetheless, most consumer aren’t likely to complain about the somewhat, lower resolution considering that the PN50C490 will be cheaper than other 3DTV models that are available. But just remember that you’ll need the glasses to get the 3D effect. Thus, the Samsung PN50C490 is available for pre-order on Amazon.
