Samsung, a world class company, claimed to have unveiled the world’s first 3-D Ready Plasma HDTV. Named as Series 4 450 the Plasma TV lets the users enjoy unparalleled 3-D experience. Users can view movies, play video games and access Web Content. Apart from 3-D functionality, the Series 4 450 offers a superior HD 720p picture for home entertainment.

According to John Revie, senior vice president of Visual Display Marketing at Samsung Electronics, “The Samsung Series 4 450 Plasma responds to the demands of consumers looking for new and innovative ways to enjoy multimedia entertainment at home. The 3-D capability of these new displays will allow our users to enjoy the broad range of exciting 3-D content already available, as well as the large volume of 3-D entertainment slated to become available in the near future.”

The Series 4 450 Plasma features a dynamic contrast ratio of up to 1,000,000:1, crisp HD 720p resolution and 18-bit color processing to deliver rich content with deep blacks and bright whites. These sleek models add grace to your room. The Series 4 450 is available for sale in 42-inch (PN42A450 @ $1,199) and 50-inch (PN50A450 @ $1,699) sizes.

    Quick question. Do these TV’s have model years? A store sold me a broken 2006 model just 2 months ago, and is not claiming responsibility. In an inquiry, the store says they only stock no later than 2007 models, even in the warehouse. Any info would help. Thanks.

    Best Buy says they don’t work on these Televisions.

    i was just wondering i have a samsung series 4 450 plasma, and i have a sony dav dz30 a sound system. what i wanna know is can i connect my sound system to the plasma tv, to watch normal tv through a cable provider? if yes. pls tell me how
